Having this "My First" album title gave me the idea of compiling some significant "my firsts" including my past experiences. This will somehow bring to order some significant events in my life that were "my firsts" . .

Welcome to Texas! The new pastel drawing looks like a smoking gun coming out of the ground. Texas still has the wild west feel to hit sometimes, doesn't it? It will be interesting to see how your new surroundings effects your creative side. You're always welcome to stay in Long Island where we have a house which is only about 45 minutes to NYC should you want to visit. It's time to break-fast. Have a great day.

To Dearest David, Family & Friends,
Here's a link to update you with our most recent activities here in Garland, TX.:
Salamat ng marami sa pag-asikaso nyo sa akin ng mabuti at punong-puno ng pagmamahal!
I enjoyed being with all of you there although I missed Riza because of her work schedule. Maybe next time, mas matagal ko kayong guguluhin.
I also cherish my one night sleep on Tatay's bed that brought a lot of memories of our dear Tatay. It reminded me of all your sacrifices for Tatay especially that of Ate Miriam. God will always continue to bless you because of your genuine love for Tatay and Nanay. Miriam did a very good job of remembering Tatay and Nanay in that room. Pls view the pictures I have uploaded that I dearly hold in my heart.
I have been viewing all your posts here, but this one just made me pause... seeing you do what you do best. You make it look too easy. You seem to have just sat down and a marvelous artwork done. You certainly have not lost your touch (well, who says you did?).
GlennBro, Nice collection of "my first." Gandang idea. Wala bang my first Banggaan meeting? My first Burbank, etc? Rod
He he, rodS . . come to think of it maraming "firsts", haha. . d bale, will find time to do it. Cge bro . . ingat lagi. -gb
Pwede kasi ang Phil license mo for 90 days kahit walang international license. I still have to take d written & driving test if I want to have d Texas license.
. kahit yung first d pa nga tapos, e. teka . . .
eto, I will attach d 2nd artwork . .
Tingnan mo lagi ang Glenn's Site to update you with what we are doing here, ha? :
natatawa ako sa mga pictures mo =D " my first peephole peep " hehehehehe! miss talaga kita =) hahaha! pati ang ganda ng sapatos mo at ng pinag ggyman mo jan ah!=) sana maka pag gym din tayo jan ng sabay=) wala nga lang si mike. pero kaya natin un! hehehe... pati ung michael art supplies =) hahaha! kamusta naman si kiko ung tennismate mo? mabait ba? talo mo ba!? hahaha! i miss you dad.... Hi Doris, It's good to hear from you! Yes, I've started doing pastel drawings after setting myself up for about three days getting art materials here from Michaels and Office Supplies Depot, about 15 min drive from where we live. I still have to go back to those store to buy more art materials I forgot to buy. This is just to prep me up for bigger format oils which may take sometime before I can finally do it. We are still waiting for Lorna's next assignment which hopefully will be an assignment for a longer stay. Eto muna, take care and warm hugs to d doggies and d 2Ms, hehe.
absolutely gorgeous Glenn! I love the colors and the way the bases of the trees look like Roses to me...
Thanks, Sandy . . I am working now on my second pastel drawing feature in this album too. I have not had the time to visit your site and other sites . . a bit busy still now that I just came in to Garland, TX from LA. Take care.
GlennBro, Huwag mo nang tapusin. Looks great as it is. Galing mo talaga. You're a first class artist bro. Rod
rodS bro . . binola mo na naman ako, hehe, I was just trying out the materials I bought from Michaels Art Supply and did the drawing rather hastily. Konting kalikot na lang to bring out a few more details, mahirap tiisin, haha. Thanks, bro . .
GlennBro, Sarap dito sa America sa art supplies. Lahat narito na.But don't limit yourself to MIchael's. Find out where the artist's there buy their art supplies. That's where the prices and selections are better. I never go to Michael's here myself, mahal at limitado. Pero malalaman mo din yan after a while. Rod
Thanks rodS for d advice. Yup, in time I will be wiser like you for I know how street-smart you are, haha. Lorna too has learned much since July last year. I have much to learn from you two. I have not yet made contact with the art community here although I know where they are. I am still working on myself, my art and my driving, hahaha. I just love to drive around here.
Mario, an old time friend since LA and Santa Barbara days in the '70s. He took care of me and taught me a lot in my three year stay in the US when i was a student at Brooks.

Hi DaveBerk, had to write daveberk for you might think I am writing to my son David, hehe.
Yup, we just might take you up on your invitation to Long Island when the time comes, haha. Would be great to be with you for some time. You know quite well the you can stay at our place in Imus for as long as you want. David awaits you to make somethin' out of that place. I'm sure, as creative as you are, you two can come up with something in the near future. Stay in touch . . take care.

Dear Glenn
Just got to really know more of you on our last meeting at Nell and Margie Naguit's home last Friday. Am looking at samples of your work and they're really great. I suggest you add a price to your work samples so people who see it can decide to buy---just like we see when we look at websites for originals and copies in art stores using the web.
Sincerely,
Abe Medina - - - - - -

Dear Abe,
Thank you for appreciating my works and for your suggestion.
I have stopped selling my artworks but collect them instead to become part of my already displayed "Personal Art Collection" (250+ artworks) at my gallery in Imus, Cavite (Glenn'Studio) and in BF Homes, Paranaque - - where the public may view them by appointment. Also, I have a few original artworks here with me in Garland, TX which may be viewed upon request:
However, I continue to accept works on commission from clients within reasonable budget and their artwork preference as part of my Art Outreach Program. Most of my clients really prefer this type of arrangement for affordability and personal satisfaction. Also, some of them request me to reproduce/print the commissioned work on canvas or on quality paper for me to further add a few strokes on and my signature - - for a small fee. This enables them to display my works (reproduction) in their offices (sizes - fit the walls) and the originals at their homes.
